I have always been athletic, but never very confident. I started in the gym about three years ago but have only been lifting heavy for a little over year now all because of Matt. I began my fitness journey with Matt at the beginning of this year and I have to say, having him train me has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made!

Before I began training with Matt I was your typical “cardio bunny”. I’ve always valued my health and fitness, therefore I always made sure to make it in to the gym at least 3x a week to get a “good” workout. However, no matter how many times I made it in to the gym or how long my workouts were, I never saw the results I longed for. I then considered lifting weights to try and target different areas of my body but that notion was immediately shut down, as I didn’t have the confidence to walk into a weight room and pretend like I knew what I was doing.

Today, Matt has helped me overcome that fear and has gone above and beyond in helping me achieve my fitness goals. He has designed a realistic and attainable plan suited specific to my needs and goals, which has significantly helped my body transform into what I’ve always envisioned it to be. This journey has not been easy and to be quite honest it’s been a bumpy road and is still a work in progress. However, regardless of how many bumps I’ve encountered along the way, I have not given up and Matt continues to hold me accountable and motivates me to keep pushing myself past my limits.

Working out for many people can be an intimidating task and working out one -on- one with a trainer can sometimes be even more intimating for a many people. Yet, what I admire about Matt is how comfortable he makes one feel regardless of your fitness level. He understands perfection is unattainable and instead focuses on a better, healthier you. He has a lot of patience with his clients and offers solid, consistent, and non-judgmental support.
